UK Celebrity MasterChef 2018 – The Finalists

Celebrity MasterChef 2018 has ended until next year, but to enjoy the reminiscence of how we were thrilled with some amazing dishes. Let us take a look at the finalists of the event once again. Even though we all know who finally went home with the first prize, it still worth the whole fuzz knowing more about all of them. We all witnessed the thrilling events as they unfolded. At last, someone has finally succeeded Angelica Bell as the Champion for 2018 (This will be the case for the next year when we will watch the next MasterChef.

At the final stage, the competition was tougher than it used to be in the past. It had four contestants battle for the last and only prize that matters. On the fourth of October, 2018 which happened to be Thursday, John Partridge, Stef Reid and Martin Bayfield and Spencer Matthews served two amazing dishes and tried to impress John Torode, Eric Lanlard, Gregg Wallace. After which they had to design two of their own dishes for a top trio of restaurant critics before one celebrity gets the chop. We will introduce to you the four finalists of MasterChef 2018.

Celebrity MasterChef 2018 Winner: John Partridge

Partridge is a stage and screen actor, most popular for playing Christian Clarke in Eastenders from 2008 to 2012… He left the BBC’s TV drama in 2012.

After departing Walford, the actor has gone on to finish sixth on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2016. In 1988, he Partridge trained in ballet and musical theatre before joining the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats. He also went on to play different main roles in a number of the casts (in London) He appeared in the filmed version of the show which was produced by Dusseldorf.

In past years, he returned to the stage in the productions such as A Chorus Line and Chicago. He came sixth in the 2016 edition of Celebrity Big Brother. A man of many talents, he also released an album titled “Dames, Dudes and Cowboy’s Too”.

Second Contestant: Spencer Matthews

The Proud new father who first appeared on E4’s made in Chelsea. A regular of reality TV shows. He married a fellow reality DJ and TV star Vogue Williams (which was in June 2018). The couple had their first child Theodore Frederick Michael Matthews in September. He also partook in the second heat alongside his fellow finalist John Partridge, Anita Harris, Jean Johansson, and Frank Bridge. He has also starred on the Bachelor, I’m Celebrity, The Jump… WOW!

Third Contestant: Martin Bayfield

A former rugby union player who played for Northampton Saints, England national team and Bedford Blues. Martin was in the first heat of celebrity MasterChef 2018. He competed against Josh Cuthbert, Keith Allen, Carol Decker, Michelle Ackerley.

A stunt and body double for Hagrid which was played by Robie Coltrane in the Harry Potter films, that was where he made the most of his height of six foot 10 inches before starring once again in the second film of the franchise as the young Hagrid. What’s interesting about former rugby player is the fact that he is a former police officer, he was part of England’s 1992 winning Five Nation Grand Slam team. He played for 6 years till he retires in 1998 after a neck injury.

Stefanie Reid: The eliminated

Stefanie was originally once a rugby union player. A real athlete, she is a Paralympic silver medalist born in New Zealand to British parents and raised in Canada. What stopped her from competing in the rugby world was a boating accident that led to her legs been amputated when she was in her teen. She had to go into track and field.

But, after winning a bronze in the T44 200m for Canada in the Paralympic Games in 2008. She then joined the Team GB, she won silvers in the F44 long jump in London 2012 and Rio 2016 games. She was also in the third heat of MasterChef in the Overall competition after leaving the competition of the first day of finals week.
