SAG Awards 2019 Are Getting Closer

The 25th Annual SAG Awards ceremony will simulcast live on TBS and TNT on January 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Kristen Bell as we all know is the SAG Awards first-ever host last year, though there has not been an announcement of the emcee for the 2019 edition in this article, we will be sharing with your dates, nominees, and what we think of the best-dressed celebrity for last year’s edition.

Anyways, the awards nominations have been decided by a randomly selected nominations panel that consists of over 2500 members of the Merged Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists Unions. But the winners will be decided by all the 121 000 members of SAG-AFTRA.

Laverne Cox and Awkwafina announced nominations live from the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, Calif. SAAG – AFTRA President Gabrielle Carteris introduced the presenters, who revealed nominations for acting in film and television. Before that, SAG Awards committee chair JoBeth Williams and Committee member Elizabeth McLaughlin revealed this year’s stunt nominees.

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga both starred in the 2018 movie “A Star is Born” led film nominations with four nods, best actress for Gaga, best actor for Bradley, best supporting actor for Sam Elliot, and Best Ensemble. Both took home the trio of nods. Meanwhile on the small screen, “Ozark” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”, both topped TV superlatives with a “quartet” of nominations apiece. These were followed by “Barry”, “Glow”, “The Kominsky Method” and “The Handmaid’s Tale” scoring three nominations each.

The 60-year old American Actress and Comedian has seven SAG nominations under her belt for her outstanding performance by a Female Actor in a comedy series. For three years in a role, Megan won three of the nominations.

Best Dressed Celebrity at the 2018 SAG Awards

Even though there was nothing like the “All-black” dress code at last year’s SAG Awards. We still had some celebrities rock it some interesting outfit on the Red Carpet none the less. This award will go to Danielle Brooks in her Marc Bouwer. She nailed it on the Red Carpet with her red and ombre sequin gown which had a plunging neckline. No wonder it was knocked out of the park. Thumbs up to her.
